Proposal Boutique have had a very exciting summer and we now have some amazing international proposals planned that we can’t wait to get stuck into.
We were so happy when we were contacted by Ahmed, who wanted to propose to his girlfriend of eight years in Sydney. We had never been asked to plan a proposal in Australia so we couldn’t wait to get started thinking of some amazing ideas.
As with all our proposers, we send them out an initial relationship consultation form to get to know them a little better and we found out that Ahmed and Joanne met at a work event, in the popular Circular Quay area. It wasn’t long before the couple were enjoying weekly dates together at the Sydney Opera House. Joanne is a lover of classical music, so what better place in the world for them to spend their time together. With a venue as impressive as this, we knew that it had to be incorporated into the proposal.
Ahmed wanted a very intimate and relaxed afternoon picnic proposal, and our amazing Sydney Proposal Coordinator was able to find the perfect location for our couple. A private rooftop was arranged, looking out over panoramic views of that simply amazing skyline, framed perfectly by the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Ahmed is a serious romantic and every weekend he would write a love letter or poem for Joanne. We wanted to incorporate this into the proposal, and so we arranged for a bouquet of her favourite white lilies’ to be delivered to work with the first of six love letters. The other five love letters were placed around Circular Quay, each containing a clue to the next. The final letter lead her to Ahmed, waiting for her at the romantic picnic setting where he proposed. Joanne of course said YES.
We are so happy for this couple and we are sorry that we cannot share images of the happy couple but they asked for complete privacy.
