Beach proposals are our most popular proposal request and we wanted to share our top tips for making sure you give the most romantic beach proposal.
1) Find the perfect location.
Dubai has a vast coastline so there are so many incredible options for your proposal. If you are on a budget, then you may opt for a public beach with a view of Burj Khalifa but remember that these can often be crowded, and you may need permits if you want to have décor or a photographer.
If you have a bigger budget, we advise booking a romantic dinner through one of the many incredible 5-star hotels such as Jumeirah Al Qasr hotel and having a private candlelit dinner on the beach with unobstructed views of Burj Al Arab. Here you can propose on powder white sands, next to palm trees and listen to the sound of the waves lapping on the seashore.
Booking a private area on the beach ensures that no one is around to watch your proposal which is super romantic.
2) Propose at sunset.
Have a look at sunset times and aim to arrive 5 minutes before this. The sky will be the best lit and you will both be able to enjoy a romantic sunset together as you get down on one knee.
We call this golden hour, and it is the best hour of the day.
3) Don’t propose and run!
The proposal moment is over in a few moments but that doesn’t mean the whole proposal event is over. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so you want to be sure that you make the most of it. After the proposal, arrange for a nice dinner and a bottle of bubbles or a romantic picnic hamper with all her favourite foods.
4) Make it WOW.
Make your beach proposal unique and add some decoration. There are so many incredible things that you can do to take your proposal next level. 5) Hire a photographer.
The moment is over so quickly and often it will feel like a blur so have a professional proposal photographer there to capture your proposal, so you have something to look back on for years to come.
