Have a Plan
Firstly, come up with a rough itinerary for your proposal. Start with the major details of what you want to do and then fill in the smaller details as you go. Have a Budget
It is very easy to have a proposal idea in mind that includes private yachts, helicopters, private dining rooms and musicians, but remember, all of these things can easily take you over your budget. Before you start with your proposal planning, set your budget and then make a list of what you would like to include in your proposal in order of importance. Once you start getting quotes, you can then decide what to include based on your budget.
Have a ring
Make sure that you remember to conceal the engagement ring and that you have somewhere safe to store it on you before you pop the question. If you want your new Fiancée to pick out her new ring after you have proposed, we highly recommend proposing with a temporary ring (us ladies will be expecting something when you are on one knee).
